This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX. Candidates based in the Phoenix area will also be considered.

 

How you will contribute

As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will help the team in developing Cloud native applications, focusing on creating microservices for Tax. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and developers across the organization. You are up for the challenges of integrating greenfield development with existing infrastructure. You are a part of a product application development team working on Payroll & Tax, Time & Attendance, and Human Resources. Actualizing our product roadmap, you own technical output. Providing empathy for our user base and collaboration with peers across the organization with: software engineering teams, product managers, operations and our executive team. You support the growth and success of our business through best-in-class software products for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain event driven cloud native HCM software
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/Framework for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks (such as Vue.js, React, or Angular) for frontend development.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that are secure, scalable, and well-documented
  • Maintain customer focus and understand your team's charter
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions
  • Experience with application observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools
  • Collaborate with your team on best practices, effective code reviewing and continual process improvements
  • Contribute in scrum ceremonies including the daily stand up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and sprint review.

Our technology stack: React, Vue.js, .NET Core/Framework, Telerik, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS SQL Server, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development related field, or similar work experience.
    • 8+ years of work history in full stack production engineering experience, in a SaaS software environment
    • Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper
    • Strong hands-on experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
    • Experience designing and operating microservices in a container-orchestrated environment
    • Familiarity with serverless architecture
    • Frontend expertise with Vue.js, React, Angular, or any other modern JavaScript framework.
    • Working knowledge of Database like RDBMS, NoSQL
    • AWS associate level certification is an advantage.



    Compensation 

    The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000, based on relevant experience, skills, and industry knowledge.  Asure Software offers a variety of employee benefits.
