Austinite Paul Hedrick launched the first direct-to-consumer western footwear brand, cutting costs by more than half to sell hand-made, quality boots. Tecovas boots range from $195-$235, compared to $450-$650 for most mid-grade handmade western boots. Hedrick’s team does this by removing the middle man and instead selling strictly online and directly to you, avoiding markups and costs typically associated to brick and mortars.
