The 3 Rules behind the Most Successful Products: Talk by SC Moatti, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.

SC Moatti, founding partner of Silicon Valley-based Mighty Capital, will join Product Austin on Monday night for its speaker series event. Moatti will draw from her executive experiences at Nokia, Facebook and EA to share how to identify and build successful products. This event will be held at Galvanize.

 

Refresh Austin (Web Design & Development Meetup), Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

Join Refresh Austin this Tuesday at The North Door for its monthly meetup to network and learn from local web professionals. Every meetup starts out with a “looking for work” and “looking to hire” segment. This event is at a bar on the second floor, so please be prepared to be carded at the door.

 

Time Machine 2017, Dec. 13 at 8 a.m.

Austin-based AI firm SparkCognition will host this two-day event at Brazos Hall to highlight how AI is leading innovation in tech, government, business and research. A few of the topics that will be highlighted include “AI: The Future of Energy,” “AI: The Future of Robotics” and “AI Military and Defense Policy.” To receive a 35 percent discount, use Built In Austin’s code “SparkATX”.

 

Austin TechBreakfast: Articulate Labs, ulaHealth, Pixilated, Parcel22, Dec. 14 at 8 a.m.

Capital Factory’s monthly TechBreakfast will take place this Thursday on the 16th floor. December’s free breakfast includes showcase presentations from Josh Rabinowitz of Articulate Labs, Hector Torres of ulaHealth, Patrick Rife of Pixilated and Paula Pettit of Parcel22. Techies, developers, designers and entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend.

 

Austin PHP Holiday PHPalooza, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Austin PHP, a meetup group for individuals interested in developing with PHP, will host its holiday party this Friday at Pinthouse Pizza for some “PHPizza.” The group’s normal meeting structure will return in January.
