The Assistant Controller will build and scale accounting infrastructure across domestic and international entities. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, consolidations, AP, payroll, intercompany accounting, month-end close, GAAP compliance, international tax support, audits, investor reporting, and financial dashboards. The role will optimize ERP and finance technology, automate processes using AI and OCR, improve controls, and mentor accounting staff while partnering cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.

Own R&D budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, headcount planning, variance analysis, and executive reporting. Partner with technical, product, people, medical, and finance leaders to translate AI/API usage, infrastructure, vendors, lab operations, and personnel investments into accurate financial plans. Build scalable finance processes and planning systems, improve reporting and forecast accuracy, and apply AI to streamline finance workflows in a fast-moving environment.

Own end-to-end revenue accounting for DTC memberships, imaging/scan, and mobile diagnostics. Manage month/quarter close, lead a small accounting team, drive data-quality fixes and automation with product/engineering, support audits, maintain controls/SOPs for SOX readiness, and scope revenue system integrations.
