Own financial strategy, capital allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for approximately half of Cloudflare’s G&A organization. Partner with CFO, CAO, CIO, and senior leaders; build advanced financial models; automate AI-assisted processes; support month-end close; explain variances; and coordinate annual and long-range planning. The role requires strong corporate finance expertise, executive communication, SaaS knowledge, and the ability to create scalable processes in an ambiguous environment.

Lead and support end-to-end mergers and acquisitions, including sourcing, strategic and financial evaluation, negotiations, internal deal-team leadership, closing, and post-close integration. Partner with R&D, go-to-market, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to assess technology businesses and execute acquisitions. Support strategic partnerships and related corporate strategy initiatives.

Prepare US and international indirect tax filings, reconciliations, journal entries, payments, exemption certificates, audit support, tax reserves, and budgets. Research tax law updates, maintain the tax calendar, reconcile system data, and improve tax processes through standardization, automation, and AI. Collaborate with tax, finance, business partners, and external service providers.

Lead Cloudflare's internal audit function, develop and execute audit strategy and plans, conduct risk assessments, manage audits across functions and locations, report findings to executive leadership and Audit Committee, and drive adoption of AI-assisted, automated audit processes and effective internal controls.

Own and advance Cloudflare's end-to-end revenue forecast: design methodology, run planning cycles, build multi-scenario models linking bookings to recognized revenue, automate forecasting with AI, partner with Accounting/FP&A, and deliver executive and board-level reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis.

Ensure US GAAP-compliant revenue recognition (ASC 606) for SaaS and token/AI-related streams, lead contract accounting and close tasks, drive AI-based automation, prepare journals and reconciliations, support audits, mentor junior staff, and partner cross-functionally to improve processes and KPIs.

Lead Cloudflare's investor relations and strategic finance work: own the quarterly earnings cycle, guidance, consensus discipline, investor engagement, Investor Day, modeling and validation, cross-functional coordination, and executive communications for public markets.
