The role requires enterprise sales or business development expertise, financial acumen, scalable partner-led sales experience, and familiarity with transportation, logistics, or fleet ecosystems.

Own sales operations strategy and execution, including process design, forecasting, performance reporting, account assignments, compensation plans, Salesforce data quality, dashboards, and cross-functional business initiatives. Partner with sales leadership, finance, data, and product teams to improve workflows, support planning, identify risks and opportunities, and drive operational effectiveness.

Own the strategy and acquisition of high-value industrial partnerships across associations, franchise and dealer networks, GPOs, and technology ecosystems. Build pipeline from zero, engage executives, develop ROI-driven business cases, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and close scalable one-to-many partnerships. Own go-to-market strategy and execution for Engine’s API partnership division. The Director will identify and secure strategic partners, prospect and close complex deals, develop commercial agreements, build ROI-driven business cases, influence product roadmaps, and coordinate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. The role also represents Engine externally at conferences and executive partner meetings while building and scaling the partnership portfolio.

Owns end-to-end acquisition of net-new lodging supply partners across aggregators, property management groups, hotel chains, and complex independent properties. Builds target pipelines, negotiates executive-level commercial agreements, structures rates and connectivity terms, drives signed partnerships through activation with cross-functional teams, and hands off activated accounts to Partner Success. Represents the company at industry events and maintains accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Own monthly and quarterly sales commission and quota calculations, resolve compensation inquiries, manage plan governance, and support timely payouts. Build models for compensation design, quota setting, capacity planning, and productivity analysis. Translate GTM data into dashboards and actionable insights, improve compensation systems and processes, and explore AI automation. Partner with Sales, Finance, Payroll, People, Data, and leadership on planning and operational initiatives.

Manage and develop a team of Account Executives selling Engine X corporate cards. Own territory revenue and card adoption, coach reps, participate in deals, build inbound and outbound pipeline, conduct forecasting and pipeline reviews, and communicate customer insights and product feedback to sales and product leadership.

Owns the full lifecycle of strategic Travel and TMC partnerships, including sourcing, negotiation, closing, onboarding, retention, and expansion. Builds executive relationships, develops high-value pipelines, forecasts in Salesforce, represents the company at industry events, and collaborates cross-functionally on proposals and partner success. The role will eventually recruit and lead a business development team while shaping the company’s Travel and TMC partnership strategy.
