The Senior Mechanical Engineer will simulate and analyze the structural integrity and performance of the Apollo humanoid robot, focusing on mass optimization and safety criteria through predictive engineering and advanced simulations.

Design and implement high-performance compute and sensory architecture for Apollo robot, including custom PCB design and multiple sensing integration, ensuring safety and reliability for robotics applications.

Design end-to-end operational workflows and user experiences for humanoid robot deployment, onboarding, servicing, maintenance, training, and daily operation. Collaborate with Product, Industrial Design, UX Research, and Engineering to map journeys, create prototypes, storyboards, and workflow artifacts, and influence trust, communication clarity, and robot legibility. Translate ambiguous technical constraints into actionable experience concepts and support evaluative and generative research. Role includes onsite operational contexts and up to 10% travel to customer sites.

Lead development of learning-based dexterous manipulation software, bridging research and production. Define architecture, simulation-to-real strategies, and hardware requirements. Deliver reliable C++/Python systems, integrate state-of-the-art control and vision policies, mentor engineers, and drive fleet deployment of multi-fingered hand control.
