Generate and qualify sales opportunities through inbound prospect engagement, discovery conversations, relationship building, and effective handoffs to Account Executives. Responsibilities include threat modeling, secure design reviews, SAST/SCA/DAST, fuzzing, secure code review, PSIRT and vulnerability disclosure, software supply-chain security, security release gates, and security champions. The role partners closely with engineering to improve secure development practices, address vulnerabilities, and protect authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, and multi-tenant isolation.

Leads high-stakes enterprise technology engagements from scoping through delivery. Manages customer and internal stakeholders, project plans, resourcing, risks, escalations, scope, and executive communications. Partners with sales and solutions engineering on handoffs, ensures success criteria are documented, and develops repeatable program playbooks. Requires technical fluency in distributed systems, streaming, and data infrastructure without hands-on coding responsibilities.

Build production-grade AI agents, integrations, data pipelines, and infrastructure directly within strategic customers’ environments. Own technical delivery from design through deployment, documentation, training, and handoff. Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams, work effectively in unfamiliar codebases, and provide technical feedback to Redpanda Product and Engineering. The role requires customer-facing communication, production software expertise, and travel of 30–50% during active engagements.
