Leads M&A and tax transaction engagements, developing federal tax strategies, structuring complex deals, managing tax risks, advising clients, supporting post-merger integration, and identifying additional service opportunities. Builds client relationships, presents complex tax concepts, mentors tax professionals, and fosters collaborative team development.

Conduct federal income tax research and analysis; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and domestic tax due diligence; draft tax memos, emails, and firm-wide alerts; and assist with federal income tax training. The role requires extensive experience advising on partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations, along with a law degree and strong tax research skills.

Provide federal income tax research and analysis for partnerships, S and C corporations; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and due diligence; draft memos, firm alerts, and training materials; mentor and advance within the National Tax Office.

Lead national tax research and analysis on federal income tax issues including accounting methods, partnerships and LLCs; support M&A and internal restructurings; draft memos, firm-wide alerts, and trainings.

Provide tax controversy support including IRS examinations and appeals, penalty abatement and collection matters, tax research and memoranda, account correspondence, and assistance with training and thought leadership.

Manage IRS examinations, appeals, collection matters, and penalty/relief requests; perform federal tax research and memos; correspond with IRS, mentor staff, and contribute to training and thought leadership.

Lead long-term ownership of an enterprise business capability platform: define vision and roadmap, own end-to-end processes and supporting technologies, prioritize product backlog, drive agile delivery, manage governance/funding, oversee vendor relationships, measure KPIs, ensure risk and compliance, and lead cross-functional teams to realize business value and continuous improvement.
