Own detection quality, roadmap, and customer experience for Chainguard's shared scanner platform. Improve malware and greyware detection, scale scanning across artifact types, define policy and investigation workflows, and partner with engineering, product security, and GTM to deliver enterprise-ready scanning capabilities.

Work with sales to design technical solutions for startup and midmarket customers. Use MEDDPICC and sales frameworks, advise on Kubernetes, Docker, serverless and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), advocate cloud/container security, maintain competitive knowledge, and build long-term customer relationships.

Lead and manage Chainguard's US commercial legal team while remaining a hands-on negotiator. Own commercial contracting, enterprise deal negotiation, playbooks, and cross-functional alignment. Ensure compliance with open source licensing and US privacy/data security frameworks, support sales velocity, and lead quarter-end closing cycles.

Own and design high-impact components of Chainguard's container image platform. Build and improve image build systems, tooling, and services at scale. Drive technical direction, participate in roadmap planning, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor engineers to raise engineering quality.
