Leads mechanical design for semiconductor tool installations and advanced fabrication facilities. Responsibilities include HVAC, process utilities, ultra-pure water, exhaust, chemical delivery and drainage systems; thermodynamic and hydraulic analysis; code compliance; multidisciplinary coordination; design reviews; construction support; commissioning; and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires technical leadership, client collaboration, PE stamping authority, and delivery of complete engineering packages.

Lead multidisciplinary semiconductor tool-install design projects from equipment specifications and utility planning through hook-up, commissioning, and client handover. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, change orders, procurement, risks, contractors, and client stakeholders. Ensure critical milestones, EHS standards, cleanroom protocols, and technical requirements are met. Coordinate engineers, designers, trade contractors, and tool owners while resolving routing and installation conflicts. Mentor project managers and drive continuous improvement across high-tech manufacturing projects.

Designs process chemical, specialty gas, ultrapure water, wastewater, and related piping systems for semiconductor and advanced technology facilities. Performs engineering calculations, equipment sizing, pressure-drop analyses, material compatibility reviews, and prepares PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and technical documentation. Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors; supports design reviews, construction administration, site verification, commissioning, QA/QC, and startup. Identifies safety and constructability risks and may mentor junior engineers.

Leads semiconductor tool-install design projects across engineering, construction, and client teams. Develops project plans, manages scope, schedules, budgets, technical decisions, quality controls, risks, document control, meetings, and RFI responses. Serves as design liaison to client tool experts, coordinates multidisciplinary engineers, resolves design constraints, and supports delivery of complex manufacturing infrastructure while driving process improvements and technical solutions.
