Responsibilities include analyzing hull stability and hydrodynamics, conducting CFD simulations, validating prototypes and autonomy algorithms, integrating propulsion and onboard systems, performing data acquisition and analysis, troubleshooting hardware, and documenting engineering findings. The role is full-time, in-office in Austin, Texas, from May through August 2027.

Software Engineer Intern will design, implement, test, and integrate software for autonomous surface vessels. Responsibilities include navigation, sensor integration, communication protocols, real-time decision-making, path planning, object detection, testing frameworks, hardware-in-the-loop testing, technical documentation, and cross-functional hardware integration. The role is full-time and on-site in Austin, Texas, from May through August 2027.

Support enterprise SaaS platforms through configuration, development, integrations, automation, documentation, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting. The intern will work with analysts and developers to configure systems such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, and Slack; write scripts or Apex logic; validate data flows and APIs; support user-acceptance testing; and resolve access or configuration issues. Develop and maintain CMM and 3D scanning inspection programs using CAD, drawings, and GD&T requirements. Perform measurement system analysis, dimensional data analysis, reporting, and special inspections. Own engineered tooling and fixture lifecycle management, including inventory, verification, calibration, configuration control, documentation, and controlled production release. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, R&D, Production, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve measurement accuracy, tooling reliability, and manufacturing support.

Develops and executes electrical verification and validation test plans for vehicle and subsystem programs. Builds and maintains automated test equipment, scripts, fixtures, and lab instrumentation integrations for PCBAs, harnesses, power systems, and assemblies. Performs functional, regression, environmental, and reliability testing; documents results; troubleshoots failures; and supports root cause analysis. Collaborates with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to improve testability, automation, production transition, and fielded hardware validation.
