Remote Account Manager responsible for new business development, account implementation, and growth within a defined territory. Drive direct sales, identify opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, manage CRM and Microsoft Office tools, collaborate with operations to deliver LTL solutions, and travel overnight as needed. Must reside within 50 miles of the Schaumburg, IL FedEx Freight location.

Lead dock and freight operations to ensure on-time, damage-free shipments. Plan manpower, coordinate dispatch and loading, manage safety and compliance, analyze performance and costs, assist customers with quotes/claims, perform administrative tasks, and support supervisors.

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior executives and lead cross-functional finance and operational projects. Drive process improvement and technology solutions, design and implement complex solutions, oversee contract risk review, liaise between departments, mentor teams, develop performance tools, and ensure compliant execution of operational changes to improve efficiency and profitability.

Supervise dock operations to ensure timely, damage-free shipments. Lead, train and develop employees, set schedules, enforce safety and regulatory compliance, manage customer interactions, monitor performance and process OS&D/claims while optimizing costs and efficiency.
