Fully remote Litigation Assistant responsible for tracking statute of limitations deadlines, managing calendars, coordinating depositions, medical examinations, court reporters, videographers, and nurse observers, preparing filing and discovery documents, tracking service of process, generating task reports, and maintaining case documentation. The role requires handling a high volume of civil litigation cases, accurate scheduling, strong follow-up, communication, organization, and independent teamwork. Training is provided on the firm’s case-management software.

Conduct outbound calls to disengaged personal injury clients, explain continued representation benefits, build rapport, address concerns, and escalate unresolved issues. Coordinate with case handlers, attorneys, Client Advocates, and Operations to ensure informed client interactions and improve the client experience. Support the Turn-Down team with additional operational projects and tasks.

Assists case managers with opening personal injury claims, sending correspondence, reviewing investigative reports, confirming insurance coverage, conducting asset and policy searches, coordinating vehicle repairs and rentals, communicating with clients and adjusters, obtaining statements, and scheduling investigators and expert inspections.

Handles civil litigation from case development through trial, including drafting pleadings and discovery, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, preparing trial materials, participating in mediation and settlement negotiations, communicating with clients, and supervising litigation support staff. The attorney must be admitted to the California bar, possess strong advocacy skills, and attend professional training.

Prepares and submits government claims, reviews filings for compliance, tracks case statuses and deadlines, communicates with agencies, conducts factual investigations, drafts litigation documents, coordinates filings, prepares case reports, and maintains case management records. The role supports litigation strategy and progression across a high volume of matters while collaborating with attorneys and pre-litigation teams.
