Owns portfolio-wide standards and design approval for passive and physical network infrastructure across data center campuses. Leads fiber, carrier entrance, meet-me room, structured cabling, pathways, rack placement, testing, acceptance, and DCIM documentation standards. Directs A/E consultants, reviews engineering and construction packages, approves deviations, supports construction and RFIs, and coordinates with network, electrical, civil, architectural, and facilities teams. They lead model reviews, clash detection, constructability assessments, fabrication-level modeling, and coordination of power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, busway, cable tray, grounding, lighting, and controls. The role interfaces with trade contractors, design firms, and internal engineering teams, audits partner models, supports prefabrication, and converts project lessons learned into improved VDC standards and playbooks.
