Conduct quality control reviews of AML alerts, KYC/KYB onboarding, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and enhanced due diligence files. Ensure compliance with BSA, FinCEN, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, and state money transmitter regulations. Identify errors and procedural gaps, perform root cause analysis, provide remediation feedback, maintain QC metrics and dashboards, and improve compliance methodologies and training.

Leads the transformation of global financial crime operations by building SOPs, queue management, productivity standards, quality assurance frameworks, and governance processes. Owns the Fincrime case management system, operational data quality, capacity planning, SLA performance, regulatory reporting readiness, and cross-time-zone leadership coverage. Partners with Product and Compliance teams, manages direct reports, drives continuous improvement, and oversees AML controls including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk reviews, and SAR workflows.

Own customer identity and onboarding at Zepz, including signup-to-first-transaction conversion, authentication, MFA, OTP delivery, account recovery, and account management. Lead experimentation, measurement, fraud prevention, and compliance efforts across global products. Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Security, FinCrime, Compliance, Customer Operations, vendors, and senior stakeholders to balance conversion, security, cost, and regulatory requirements.

Develop marketing analytics and data science models to measure campaign effectiveness, ROI, attribution, customer lifetime value, and marketing impact. Apply causal inference, experimentation, and Marketing Mix Modeling; automate model pipelines and monitoring; build insight-ready datasets and self-service dashboards; and communicate actionable findings to marketing and executive stakeholders. The role also supports campaign analysis, data requirements, training, and strategic planning.

Owns LATAM commercial performance, including regional P&L, revenue, customer acquisition, unit economics, and growth targets. Builds commercial strategies, aligns investment with corridor targets, briefs Marketing, supports FX and business development initiatives, and partners with Data Insights on performance analysis. The role develops business cases, financial models, reporting frameworks, and cross-functional operating rhythms while influencing senior stakeholders and regional priorities.
