Manage and develop a team of 10–12 payroll tax care experts. Oversee productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, escalations, service levels, and tax case outcomes. Partner with engineering, design, data science, credit, legal, finance, marketing, and external financial partners to develop, launch, and optimize B2B financial products. Responsibilities include defining requirements, managing backlogs, facilitating agile ceremonies, building business cases, gathering customer feedback, and measuring product outcomes.

Lead cloud security strategy and hands-on execution across AWS environments. Own CNAPP and CSPM capabilities, improve IAM and container security, build infrastructure-as-code guardrails, conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling, support detection and incident response, and drive remediation programs. The role combines hands-on software engineering with architecture, cross-team technical leadership, AI-assisted development, developer productivity measurement, mentorship, and roadmap prioritization.

Leads Toast’s merchant liens, levies, garnishments, UCC, tax lien, and bankruptcy compliance function. Builds policies, governance, workflows, systems, KPIs, and a specialized oversight team while insourcing operations from a third-party partner. Manages complex escalations involving customers, creditors, attorneys, Legal, Risk, Finance, Product, and Engineering, ensuring compliant withholding, remittance, releases, and handling of high-risk cases.
