Build relationships with local government officials, monitor policy and regulatory proposals, support permitting and approvals, lead site visits and public events, coordinate advocacy efforts, and represent Zipline in community and industry settings. The role focuses on enabling autonomous drone delivery launches and expansion across Texas and other markets while addressing public concerns about safety, privacy, sound, infrastructure, and community impact.

Own end-to-end site acquisition across Central US markets, from pipeline creation and qualification through negotiation, contracting, signature, and handoff. Source sites, assess zoning and constructability risks, manage LOIs and definitive agreements with Legal, maintain CRM forecasts, improve acquisition processes, and build lasting site-host relationships. The role requires high-volume outreach, strong negotiation, disciplined execution, and up to 20% domestic travel.

Own end-to-end site acquisition across the Central Region, from sourcing and qualification through negotiation, contracting, signature, and handoff. Build high-volume pipelines, negotiate leases and licenses, lead early site diligence, manage CRM forecasting, and coordinate with legal, engineering, finance, and operations. Maintain site-host relationships after signing and improve acquisition playbooks, broker programs, and processes. Domestic travel up to 20% is expected.

Develop and close partnerships with mid-market restaurant groups operating 30–199 locations. Responsibilities include prospecting, engaging corporate and franchise stakeholders, presenting Zipline’s delivery value, coordinating technical and commercial decisions, negotiating agreements, managing pipelines and forecasts, supporting launches, expanding successful partnerships, and collaborating with Partner Success, Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams. Travel to customer meetings, restaurant visits, and industry events is required as needed.

Supports commercial strategy and operations through business reviews, reporting, performance analysis, forecasting, competitor research, and cross-functional planning. The intern will analyze customer, merchant, market, and operational data; prepare leadership presentations; improve operating processes; and own a defined strategy or operations project. The role is full-time and onsite, with frequent travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations in selected Texas or Arizona markets.
