Build and scale eBay’s internal developer platform, including backend services, REST APIs, React-based developer tools, Kubernetes capabilities, and automation. Design distributed systems with Java or Kotlin, operate cloud-native development environments, create Python automation, improve software delivery workflows, and collaborate with engineers to develop self-service platform experiences and applied AI capabilities.

Set multi-year strategy and roadmaps for eBay’s global platform, aligning company goals with platform adoption, modernization, migrations, and new capabilities. Integrate cryptography into Java services (JCA/JCE, J2EE), work with hardware-backed modules (PKCS#11, KMIP, TPM 2.0), lead threat modeling and security reviews, and improve performance, scalability, and resilience of cryptographic operations.

Owns the product strategy and roadmap for shared platform services supporting eBay teams. Translates business and technical needs into priorities, coordinates cross-team commitments, identifies adoption barriers and capability gaps, evaluates technical options, and tracks outcomes through adoption, migrations, service health, operational efficiency, and customer impact. Partners with engineering, architecture, product, and executive leaders while identifying responsible AI capabilities that improve delivery and business results.

Build and deploy production-grade AI, ML, and intelligent automation solutions for Finance use cases. Design scalable systems, data pipelines, automation workflows, web apps, and intelligent agents; collaborate with Finance, Product, Engineering, and IT to deliver, monitor, and scale solutions that improve efficiency and controls.

Manage complex indirect tax matters across eBay’s Americas businesses. Provide U.S. sales and use tax guidance, research legislation, assess tax implications of products and operating models, support audits and controversy matters, and lead tax implementation with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other teams. Drive nexus analyses, registrations, voluntary disclosure efforts, M&A integration, internal audits, process improvements, documentation, controls, and scalable tax technology solutions.
