Manage strategic technology sales and customer relationships for Texas state and local government and higher education accounts. Develop account plans, engage executive stakeholders, uncover business challenges, and lead complex opportunities from discovery through close. Serve as the pre-sales consulting partner in a regional AI pod: scope and sell AI consulting engagements, design assessments/workshops/pilots, develop service proposals, justify AI infrastructure investments, drive workforce AI and coding-assistant services, ensure clean handoffs to delivery, and build repeatable service frameworks to accelerate customers from exploration to production.

Serve as the technical pre-sales architect for regional AI deals: design end-to-end AI/ML architectures, lead discovery and POC work with the Advanced Technology Center, create reference architectures/BoMs/sizing, align with NVIDIA and hyperscaler partners, and ensure clean handoff to delivery teams while co-selling with field teams to win revenue.

Evaluate and develop compute technologies for the Advanced Technology Center. Design and build compute environments for sandboxes, proofs of concept, and lab-as-a-service engagements. Create architectural diagrams, access guides, test plans, use cases, and high- and low-level designs. Collaborate with customers, partners, sales, and internal teams; support business development and marketing; foster OEM partnerships; and maintain required industry certifications.

Coordinates IT infrastructure projects for external customers, tracking documentation, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, scope changes, and project deliverables. Supports projects throughout initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure. Maintains stakeholder relationships, facilitates meetings, follows up on action items, prepares status reports, monitors financial performance, and ensures project requirements, risks, and resolutions are documented and communicated.

Designs and validates data solutions, database architectures, integrations, data models, pipelines, and process flows. Collaborates with analysts, engineers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems. Develops analytic plans, produces data visualizations and executive reports, maintains data catalogs and quality standards, ensures privacy and regulatory compliance, and mentors teams on data maturity and process improvement.

Develop AI-native engineering tools, workflows, training, documentation, proofs of concept, and reference architectures across the enterprise. Research and evaluate emerging AI platforms, integrate approved tools into engineering processes, and drive adoption through presentations, tutorials, videos, office hours, and stakeholder communications. The role partners with engineering teams and senior leaders to improve developer velocity, quality, and experience while establishing standards within an IT Software Engineering Center of Excellence.

Leads enterprise AI-native engineering initiatives by researching and prototyping AI tools, designing AI-enhanced workflows, creating reference architectures, and developing proofs of concept. Owns AI training and enablement, including documentation, presentations, tutorials, demonstrations, and coaching. Evaluates tooling, supports adoption, communicates technical changes to leadership, hosts engineering office hours, and establishes scalable standards across the organization.

Leads solution architecture for complex automation and agentic operations opportunities. Partners with sales and clients to discover needs, define use cases, validate feasibility, develop business cases, estimate costs, and create differentiated proposals. Governs opportunity progression, coaches solution architects, aligns solutions with delivery teams, and ensures effective handoff into execution. The role also drives continuous improvement, stays current on automation technologies and industry trends, and supports strategic client growth.
