Researches and resolves loss mitigation escalations, complaints, and regulatory inquiries. Tracks requests and response timelines, gathers loan documentation, performs root cause analysis, recommends corrective actions, and maintains issue databases and trend reports. Partners with internal departments and management as a loss mitigation subject matter expert, supports process improvement and training, and may provide presentations and minimal operational travel support.

Oversee complex escrow processes for mortgage-insured loans, including reconciling and processing FHA, PMI, and USDA payments, managing escrow stops, researching vendor issues, and supporting loan boarding. The specialist performs quality control, compiles operational data, escalates complex issues, assists junior associates, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.

Manages mortgage escrow oversight processes, including setting up FHA, PMI, and USDA escrow lines; researching tax, insurance, flood, and refund issues; processing cancellations; disbursing escrow balances; documenting loan updates; and resolving discrepancies in compliance with regulations and company procedures.

Processes mortgage loss draft and property damage claims, including checks, documents, inspections, claim packages, repair estimates, and draw eligibility.
