Leads Kestra Financial’s surveillance program, overseeing analysts, regulatory compliance, alert investigations, risk controls, documentation, and process improvements. The role interprets FINRA, SEC, and state requirements; manages audits and examinations; enhances surveillance systems and analytics; and partners with Compliance, Legal, Supervision, AML, and Technology teams. It also requires team leadership, policy development, senior-level risk communication, and management of surveillance frameworks for brokerage, advisory, and financial professional activity.

Leads technology strategy, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration across acquired wealth management firms. Owns integration playbooks, platform consolidation, enterprise architecture, vendor governance, migration initiatives, risk management, and executive reporting. Partners with corporate development, operations, security, product, engineering, and compliance teams to align acquired firms with preferred technology standards. Builds and leads a team while advising executives on technology risks, investments, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.

Manage the onboarding and transition of new financial advisory firms to Kestra. Serve as project manager and primary contact, coordinate registration and account-transfer activities, track progress and assets, resolve operational and technology issues, educate advisors, facilitate internal and external relationships, and gather feedback to improve the onboarding experience.

Performs advanced accounting, financial analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, audit coordination, and accounting policy research. Supports M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration, leads departmental projects, maintains accrual and amortization schedules, and trains or reviews accounting staff. Requires strong GAAP knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and experience in financial services, with proficiency in Excel and Word. NetSuite and SQL experience are advantageous.

Owns service delivery and relationship management for assigned financial advisors. The role handles complex escalations, coordinates cross-functional resolutions, advocates for clients, monitors retention risks, analyzes service metrics, and leads initiatives to improve advisor experience, efficiency, and service consistency. It requires extensive client service, operations, broker-dealer, financial products, and strategic collaboration experience, along with SIE and Series 7 credentials.
