Leads FP&A for Yahoo’s Central Technology Organization, partnering with the CTO and engineering leaders on forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, P&L reviews, cost management, capital allocation, cloud efficiency, and technology investment ROI. Oversees technology operating and capital expenditures, develops financial projections, delivers executive insights, and advances AI-enabled analytics and predictive modeling to improve forecasting and reporting.

Leads Yahoo’s global income tax accounting operations, including consolidated and segmented tax provisions, ASC 740 disclosures, audit coordination, controls, reconciliations, and technical guidance. Manages and develops the tax accounting team while modernizing workflows through Oracle Financials, automation, and generative AI. Partners with Accounting, FP&A, External Reporting, and auditors, monitors tax law and accounting policy, and ensures accurate, timely, well-governed deliverables.

Design, build, and maintain scalable security platform features and microservices using Java, Go, and Node. Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, triage vulnerabilities, and automate workflows. Troubleshoot distributed Linux and cloud (AWS/GCP) systems, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, production-ready platform services.

Owns pricing and deal-desk economics for Yahoo DSP, including incentive evaluations, credit and make-good negotiations, revenue and margin modeling, and profitability analysis. The role delivers monthly RNOT reporting and variance commentary to FP&A leadership, partners with Sales, Legal, Controllership, and Client Services, and uses analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and deal analysis.

Lead personnel accounting for payroll, benefits, long-term incentives, restructuring, and capitalized labor. Manage a team of three, ensure timely GAAP- and SOX-compliant close activities, maintain controls, oversee capitalized labor processes and committee reviews, partner cross-functionally, support audits, and drive process improvements using Oracle Financials, automation, and AI.

Own and advance Yahoo’s enterprise Node.js development environment, including runtimes, packages, container images, internal integrations, and CI/CD workflows. Manage runtime lifecycles, security updates, dependencies, releases, testing, automation, and troubleshooting. Support GitHub Enterprise and GitLab Enterprise while integrating AI programming tools to improve developer productivity. Partner across engineering and security teams, and document platform changes, migrations, and deprecations.

Build and maintain high-performance, reliable backend systems for Yahoo Mail AntiSpam and Delivery. Design and develop complex server applications on Unix, leverage cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and ML/AI models to detect and deliver messages. Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scalability and uptime.

Leads Yahoo DSP advertising partnerships with PMG and other independent agencies. Owns executive relationships, develops partnership and go-to-market strategies, drives revenue growth, influences agency investment decisions, activates demand, represents Yahoo at industry events, and provides agency insights to product and sales teams. Requires deep advertising ecosystem knowledge, programmatic expertise, cross-functional leadership, and strong communication and operational skills.

Lead Yahoo DSP’s advertising business across Horizon and Havas by managing executive agency relationships, developing partnership and go-to-market strategies, driving revenue growth, influencing product and sales activation, and representing Yahoo at agency forums and industry events. The role requires deep advertising agency ecosystem expertise, programmatic technology knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and a proven record of building strategic partnerships and delivering measurable revenue growth.

Lead the design and implementation of large-scale AI and machine learning systems for Yahoo Search across multiple teams. Define data strategies, evaluation frameworks, and scalable production-serving approaches. Drive technical alignment among engineering, product, design, and research teams; guide adoption of large language models, vision models, generative AI, and agentic AI; and oversee data analysis informing strategic product decisions.
