Lead The Athletic’s product design vision and organization of approximately 10 designers. Develop prototypes and strategic concepts for a next-generation sports app, influence product direction using data-backed perspectives, and remain hands-on with design reviews, Figma, and prototyping. Establish AI-native design tools and workflows, coach team members, manage performance, and collaborate with executive leaders across engineering, product, data, marketing, and commercial functions. The role is remote in the U.S. or Canada and requires regular travel.

Design and iterate polished user experiences for Chess.com features across web, iOS, and Android. Own projects from problem definition through implementation, create prototypes with Cursor and Claude, apply design systems, collaborate with product and engineering teams, present design rationale, and contribute proactively in a remote environment.

Leads enterprise commercial sales to employers with 1,000+ employees, owning territory strategy, pipeline development, broker and benefits-consultant partnerships, consultative discovery, complex 12+ month sales cycles, forecasting, and contract closure. The role targets healthcare and benefits decision-makers, develops ROI-based business cases, coordinates cross-functional deal execution, and supports successful client launches. Approximately 50% travel is required, along with U.S. work authorization.

Meet activity and conversion targets while continuously improving sales skills, product knowledge, and follow-up practices.

Maintains financial records and bookkeeping for multiple clients, prepares and analyzes financial statements, reconciles accounts, manages accounts payable and receivable, processes payroll, supports budgeting and forecasting, and assists with year-end close and tax filings.
