The Senior Growth Engineer will build web experiences and backend systems to drive growth at Buffer, focusing on features, integrations, and experiments to enhance marketing performance.

The Senior Financial Analyst manages complex contract financials, develops budgets, analyzes financial trends, and advises on contract modifications and compliance with regulations.

Design, build, and operate backend platform services and infrastructure, owning features end-to-end from design through production. Improve reliability, performance, and scalability across services and the data layer, investigate and resolve production incidents, and convert fixes into durable improvements. Perform database work as needed (query/index tuning, sharding, capacity planning) and collaborate with SRE and application teams to meet zero-downtime SLAs. Mentor peers and raise engineering quality through reviews and best practices.

Serve as primary strategic advisor for assigned middle-market clients on benefits, leaves, ADA, and claims. Build relationships, lead renewals and upsell, coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve escalations, drive revenue growth, ensure contract compliance, mentor colleagues, and manage complex projects with advanced analytics and operational excellence.

Design, implement, and ship end-to-end features across backend services and a React web client for a multi-tenant ERP. Own schema design, migrations respecting row-level security, integrations with platform services, and deliver high-quality, performant code with CI/CD, tests, and code review. Leverage AI coding assistants responsibly and collaborate cross-functionally to evolve shared platform libraries and developer tooling.

Own and optimize high-scale AWS Aurora/MySQL multi-tenant databases (400+ schemas). Tune queries, indexes, InnoDB internals, replica/cluster behavior, ETL pipelines, observability (Datadog, performance_schema), capacity/cost, and mentor engineers. Evaluate GenAI tooling to automate diagnostics and fleet management.

Create, audit, and maintain internal and external CX content and knowledge bases (Salesforce preferred). Translate processes into user-friendly guides, manage content requests, develop team macros, and coordinate with Product, Marketing, Legal, and CX leadership to ensure accurate, consistent, brand-aligned customer support resources.

Lead the technical roadmap and hands-on development of a scalable data platform, build analytics and data access solutions, ensure data quality/governance/observability, mentor and grow a team of data engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and evaluate new big-data technologies.

Build AI-native offensive security capabilities: develop AI-assisted vulnerability discovery, exploit validation, reverse-engineering and pen-testing pipelines; design agentic workflows and eval harnesses; perform static/dynamic analysis and authorized live testing; produce reproducible technical reports and improve safety, auditability, and human-in-the-loop controls.

The AI Enablement Lead facilitates AI adoption in enterprises, delivering training programs, coaching sessions, and developing curriculum while engaging closely with customer leadership.
